This growing family was quickly growing out of the original one person kitchen that was  wedged into a tiny space at the front of the home while the large formal living and dining rooms at the back of the home went mostly unused.  Repurposing the old kitchen into a breakfast nook and the formal dining room an adjoining kitchen transformed this 1960’s split into a modern family friendly open plan.
